*RULES*

CHARACTER LIST + PARENT LIST + PLAYED-BY LIST + CAST LIST + APPLICATION + RULES + FAQ

1. OUT OF CHARACTER DRAMA! Please, just don't do it. Games are for fun!

2. IN CHARACTER DRAMA! The more the better! Just make sure to keep things realistic. Pregnancy's last 9 months, not everyone is going to be pregnant. If your character does drugs, make it realistic, and don't over do it. If we find things being overdone we'll talk to you. If you have any major plot ideas please talk to one of the mods.

3. GOD MODDING! Basically, you control your characters that's it! Don't decide what a character you are writing with is going to do. If we find this happening you'll be asked to leave.

4. GRAMMAR AND SPELLING: This is important, however no one is perfect. If you happen to have a character that can't spell that's fine for the journals, not for threads.

5. BACK STORY! When creating back story please talk to those that the back story would affect. This goes for the history of families, siblings, enemies, exes and friends. You can assume that the Longbottom's and the Weasley's would be close, but for those in the families, please discuss that. That goes for enemies like Malfoy's and Potters, or cousins like Weasley's.

6. PLAYED BYS! Be reasonable. Pretty simple.

7. AGE LIMIT! Seventeen and over. Please, don't lie. We know you want to role play with us, but it's very important that we keep an age minimum to adults. There is going to be language and sexual material.

8. ACTIVITY! Keep active. You must have at least one journal and one thread a month or two journal entries. Pretty simple, and not that much. The more the better! If we notice you haven't updated a character in a month you'll get one warning, if you fail activity again we'll ask you to drop that character.

9. WHINING! Please don't do it. It'll probably just give us all a headache.

10. CHARACTER LIMIT! Don't take more than you can handle. If you find yourself with 3 and can't handle that many, don't try to take on more. If you can handle over 14 and keep up with them, more power to you. Keep in mind however if you slack on any of your characters we will ask you to let them go.

11. THREADING! Keep to standard forms:
WHO: Who is participating in this thread/log.
WHAT: What is happening in the thread/log.
WHERE: Where it takes place.
WHEN: What day, time of the day.
WHY: Why are you doing it?
RATING: This is where warnings go! G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17 & why!

STATUS ie: Complete or Incomplete, closed or open.

12. CHARACTER JOURNALS! Make sure it looks nice, and you pick a name that has something to do with your character.

13. CHARACTER FAMILIES! You can't play siblings.. That'd just be no fun!

14. CREDITING ICONS Now, we know it isn't exactly the most fun thing in the world, but it's important. People spend a lot of time working on icons and it's just polite to credit. If you for some reason have no idea where an icon is from, say that.. that's okay. We will give you a warning if we see your icons are without credit. If you still don't credit them, you'll be asked to leave.

15. SHIPPING Romance is fun! We all know it, having romantic lines is fun, but they are not the only lines out and about in the world. While we understand the desire to pair off, it really isn't fair to other characters. Remember that Role Playing isn't just about who your character is dating. Also, please try not to limit your character to one "set person they are going to be with." See where it goes. If we see too much "shipping" because it was "decided" we'll talk to you. Back story is great, but please try and keep an open mind when romantic lines come up. Some people might have more chemistry than the "set" line you and a friend decided on.

16. CLIQUES While it is comfortable to play with the people you know, please be open to playing with other people. We want everyone to feel welcome here! Play with everyone! Ship with everyone, don't limit yourself to just playing with one or two people. If we see this happening we will talk to you.
